Twice a year, punkt.de goes crazy:
According to plan.
Incredibly productive.
And for exactly one day.

Then it's Just do it day. A working day on which we take time for the things we have always wanted to try out - but for which there is never enough time in everyday business. That's why Just do it Day is always a mixture of practical training and DIY workshop. Here we spin around, try out and develop whatever the day has to offer. And in the end, the results are surprisingly useful: for example, a new dashboard that now ensures that no one in the punkt.de kitchen misses the really important things, such as the new Twitter comment from punkt.de. ;)

Six teams came together at the latest Just do it Day for a collective spinning session. It was very democratic, as all employees could submit suggestions for daily projects. If a group is found for the topic, it starts. This time, this meant that we worked intensively on owncloud, dashing, the Atlassian group chat "HipChat", but also on the question of how release cycles can be calculated even better for our customers. A new version of Quizduell was also created as part of Just do it Day (... but only with questions about TYPO3, of course) and an Android app with unusual image and sound effects for children. All we can say is: If that wasn't worth it ..
