Big data analysis & business intelligence solutions

Rely on the right tools to analyze your business figures and KPIs - without having to switch to a proprietary system. Because things are better with open source solutions.

Big data analysis - important concepts for business intelligence

Hidden behind the buzzwords big data and business intelligence are tangible tools and solutions that can drive your business forward - and make a massive contribution to the digitalization of your company. There are many possibilities, for example

Here you can see an example of a dashboard for a big data solution. The data, KPIs and presentations are of course individually tailored to your company and your structures:

Business Intelligence solution: Dashboard

Such big data solutions do more than just display data in a smart way: they can automatically optimize business processes. Think of a branch network, for example: what if a branch automatically receives a message when another branch makes good sales with a certain product under similar conditions? The store in question can then include the product. Or you can monitor Google reviews and forum entries and receive an alert if action is required. Or you can automatically send e-mails with reports and recommendations for action to departments, branches, sales representatives, etc. when certain criteria are met...

Of course, all of this can be linked to all kinds of internal data, such as intranet, documents, sales processes, ERP and so on. Cleverly used, this results in business intelligence applications that save a lot of resources, advance entire business areas and have a motivating effect.

Here is an example of how problems can be quickly identified and subsequently resolved through graphical representation:

Big data analysis can not only be used to implement business intelligence, but also to make recommendations for action

Business intelligence & big data solutions with open source technology

Many of the well-known business intelligence solutions are proprietary software. In contrast, we believe that open source software has many advantages. Probably the most important of these is that you do not have to convert your entire IT system, or large parts of it, to a solution from one manufacturer. This makes open source solutions an alternative to Microsoft BI, for example.

We build a big data solution tailored to your business environment that really helps you move forward. Above all, we can integrate it seamlessly into your existing systems. You can also continue to use the tools you are used to - reducing friction losses and saving costs for additional software.

Heatmaps are an important building block for business intelligence solutions

Heat maps can be used to illustrate trends, problems and correlations. This is another area where big data and business intelligence solutions based on open source technology come into their own.

Automatic tracking of KPIs

For the automatic tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), we think in terms of "campaigns": this allows detailed conditions to be defined that trigger certain actions. For example, this could be an email with a link. If the recipient clicks on the link within a certain period and confirms, for example, that they have received the information AND the KPIs develop positively, everything is fine. If the recipient does not click, then another campaign is started - perhaps with tips and recommendations for action, perhaps via other channels. If the KPIs develop negatively, another campaign is launched.

Such big data-based techniques not only provide an overview of important data and its effects, but can also "actively" improve business processes and business results. An important step in digitalization!
