To automatically track key performance indicators (KPIs), we think in terms of “campaigns”: This allows us to define detailed conditions that trigger specific actions. This could be, for example, an email containing a link. If the recipient clicks the link within a certain timeframe—thereby confirming, for example, that they have received the information—AND the KPIs are trending positively, everything is fine. If the recipient does not click the link, another campaign is launched—perhaps with reminders and recommendations for action, perhaps through other channels. If the KPIs are trending negatively, yet another campaign is triggered.
Such big data-based techniques not only provide an overview of key data and its impact but can also “actively” improve business processes and business results. An important step in digital transformation!
