punkt.de wins the TYPO3 Community Award with nph project

In times of dynamically reloaded page content, it often happens that jumping back to the previous page produces an unexpected result. The range of possibilities here is wide and can extend to the browser's start page, even though you clicked like crazy on the previous page. With HTML5, there is a very simple way to counteract this.

Last Thursday evening at this year's T3CON in Munich, the TYPO3 Award was presented for the second time in a new edition in 9 categories and the "Website of the year" (here are all the winners: award.typo3.org). A new addition this year is the TYPO3 Community Award. This is not chosen by the jury, but by the community voting for the best project.

We received this award from the punkt.de with the store extension for the website hilfefuerwaisenkinder.de/shop/ from nph Germany. Sebastian Helzle, the product owner of the project, Florian Franke from our partner agency made in, who was responsible for the design of the store, and Mr. von Houwald, one of our contacts on the customer side, proudly and happily accepted the award in person.

We are extremely proud of our velo team, who implemented this project in the first half of the year and are currently optimizing the store and adding new functionalities. This not only makes it easier to donate, but also, for example, to make donations in someone else's name (e.g. as a gift). Just in time for the TYPO3 Award, the feature was integrated that selected donations from third parties are doubled. Currently, for example, your donation for the people in need after hurricane "Matthew" will be doubled by partners #T3HelpHaiti.

This year's event was once again characterized by the passion of agencies, customers and people from the TYPO3 environment. For example, the best TYPO3 event was also honored and received a trophy. Even in the discussions after the gala evening in the bar of the Löwenbräu Keller, there was still a lot of lively debate, exchange and discussion.

It was a pleasure for us to attend this really successful and entertaining event and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors and organizers once again.
