Welcome

Like all participants and organizers of TYPO3 Con, we at punkt.de taken a more in-depth look at the topic of AI than is usually possible in our day-to-day work. For us as a digital agency, two key areas have emerged:

Internal:

• Underperforming developers can improve their performance
• Certain programming tasks are eliminated entirely
• The pressure to perform is increasing

Externally:

• Customers need a lot of guidance
• Use cases are becoming more diverse and useful
• Editors are under pressure
• The legal situation is uncertain

This raises the question of open source in AI and which models are sustainable for all of us in the long term. We in the TYPO3 community know that it’s much more efficient to work things out together than to rack our brains on our own. That’s why we want to pool our resources and figure out what this new technology means for us and how we can establish best practices. The goal of Discovery Day is therefore for everyone to go home with an idea of what the next implementation steps will be in their own agency. We’re organizing an afternoon of small-group workshops on questions such as:

• How will AI change things at my agency?
• How can I get my colleagues on board?
• What use cases do we already have with clients, or how can upselling work here?
• What solutions already exist in the TYPO3 ecosystem, and where is additional support still needed?
• and much more.
