This year, we were delighted to host the Neos Conference in Karlsruhe for the first time. From May 30 to 31, the Neos community gathered to experience two days full of innovation, exchange and enthusiasm. Together with our partners from Sandstorm, we organized the event and would like to thank Sebastian Kurfürst and Jürgen Egeling and their teams for the great preparation. As a Gold Sponsor, we were of course once again involved this year.
The conference began on Thursday morning on the usual professional stage, accompanied for the first time by the Neos Community Orchestra.
For two days, the conference not only offered exciting presentations and interesting insights from the Neos ecosystem, but also numerous opportunities for great conversations with old acquaintances and new followers of the CMS.
We were particularly pleased with the presentation by our colleague André Hoffmann.
Over the past few months, André has been working intensively on an extension that uses artificial intelligence to automatically create a complete page from a text in Neos content elements. Including the creation of images that underline the message of the text.
His findings were received with great interest by the conference participants.
Contribution Day
Although the conference officially ended on Friday afternoon, some particularly committed members of the Neos community stayed until Saturday to take part in the Contribution Day. Here they were able to learn from experienced developers how to fix bugs found and integrate missing features into the core for their own customer projects. This day provided a valuable opportunity for hands-on learning and deepening collaboration within the community.

But the commitment of the Neos community went even further. After a short recovery day on Sunday, the core development team met in our office on Monday to spend another three days working intensively on Neos and other important topics related to the open source project.
As always, there was no shortage of fun! An ideal opportunity to get to know the CMS and the people behind it better, which you and your developers should definitely treat yourselves to.
The Neos conference in Karlsruhe was a complete success and once again showed how lively and committed the Neos community is. We are already looking forward to hosting this inspiring event again next year and actively helping to shape the further development of Neos.
