"Well", you might say, "but let's be honest" ... aren't corporate websites, wikis or intranet or extranet portals that are punkt.de developed are not also products?

The answer is in the word "develop" ...

We like to think big - and this is also reflected in our web projects. Because our customers don't just want a new website, they always have complex issues to deal with. This could be the relaunch of a corporate website, in which many applications interact in the background to provide visitors with precisely tailored information, in which a completely new information architecture and a differentiated authorization system for editors have to be developed due to company mergers, or a partner portal that has to meet particularly high security requirements. The list could go on and on, but the message remains: "One size fits all" is out of the running for Internet applications in the business sector.

Our work therefore always begins with the question: What value does the potential project actually have for the customer? What exactly does the customer want to achieve with it? And no, "it's in the briefing" doesn't apply. Web applications are not an end in themselves, but a communication tool: What information should the user ultimately receive? What should be communicated - and how? The answers to these questions are rarely already known at the start of the project. They have to be worked out in collaboration with the customer: This is a central part of our work, which is all too easily reduced to technical implementation by the term "products".

Yes, the end result is a website. But not a model from a drawer, not a construction kit with ready-made connectors. With every project, we are faced with the challenge of finding answers that work technically flawlessly, are flexible enough for extensions and changes and are also easy to use. Development is also code, but much more than that. For us, it means thinking conceptually, defining the path and providing advice. That's why we say: finding solutions.
