IPv6, Continuous Relaunch, Scrum, and Layout Testing

The following colleagues, including myself, are traveling to conferences in Germany and Copenhagen to give you an overview of various technical and non-technical topics. Here’s a brief overview:

• Next Thursday (May 26, 2016), Wolfgang Zenker will give you a concise overview of the current state of IPv6. The punkt.de has been actively promoting the adoption of IPv6 for years, so all of our servers at punkt.de Hosting are currently accessible via IPv6 as well. • Jürgen Egeling, our CEO, will speak at Webinale on May 30, 2016, about why it’s especially important today to stay on top of things when developing a website or other web-based projects—and who, above all, should pay close attention to this. This means not simply outsourcing web projects to a web agency and then waiting 3–7 years before reconsidering what could be done differently in terms of technology, design, or similar aspects. • On June 8, 2016, Annette Harder will present practical—and, above all, actionable—strategies at Scrum Day designed to help ScrumMasters of well-established Scrum teams continuously improve.
  
  
• Finally, on June 20, 2016, at Developer Week, Christiane Helmchen and I will explain to developers and testers what layout testing is, how it benefits both customers and developers, and how it can be effectively used in projects.
