The weekend of April 7–9, 2017, it was that time again. The TYPO3 Server Team got together for another sprint, which this time took place in Frankfurt at the offices of our colleagues at dkd. We from punkt.de were there in Frankfurt this time with two of our admins, Jörg and Patrick, to actively support the team.
For those of you who aren’t quite sure what the TYPO3 Server Team actually does: It manages the entire IT infrastructure behind typo3.org and ensures that the TYPO3 developers have the right environment to work in.
During the Server Sprint, the team once again worked diligently on the infrastructure of typo3.org, including setting up the documentation rendering environment with a new architecture. In addition, the open-source project management tool Redmine—which is used at TYPO3—was updated, and work continued on implementing single sign-on across all typo3.org applications. Our team was able to support the project with their expertise, particularly in the area of LDAP. All in all, this was a very productive sprint.
We’re excited that the next TYPO3 Server Team Sprint will take place this summer at the offices of punkt.de.
