TYPO3 Server Sprint in Frankfurt

Two days for a sprint is not too much time. But the nine professionals present achieved a lot. Not only was the documentation rendering environment relaunched, Redmine was also updated.

On the weekend from April 07 to April 09, 2017 it was time again. The TYPO3 server team met for another sprint, which this time took place in Frankfurt with our colleagues from dkd. We from punkt.de were there this time with two of our admins, Jörg and Patrick, to actively support the team.

For those of you who don't know exactly what the TYPO3 server team actually does: It takes care of the entire IT infrastructure behind typo3.org and ensures that the TYPO3 developers have a suitable environment.

During the server sprint, we once again worked hard on the typo3.org infrastructure and, among other things, set up the documentation rendering environment with a new architecture. In addition, the open source project management tool Redmine, which is used in TYPO3, was updated and the topic of single sign-on across all typo3.org applications was further advanced. Especially when it comes to LDAP, our guys were able to support the team with the relevant know-how. All in all, this was a very productive sprint.

We are pleased to announce that the next TYPO3 Server Team Sprint will take place in the summer at the offices of punkt.de.
