The shareholders initiated the plan for a succession plan at an ordinary shareholders' meeting. As a first step, Daniel Lienert and Fabian Stein were appointed as managing directors. They will thus join forces with the long-standing managing director Jürgen Egeling to form a three-man team, although the corresponding formal notification to the local court is still pending.

Daniel and Fabian have been committed employees of punkt.de for a long time. After punkt.de decided to decentralize decision-making processes a few years ago, it was the logical next step to entrust Daniel and Fabian with additional tasks and enable them to play a greater role in shaping the fortunes of punkt.de in the future.

The shareholders hope that this will continue to have a positive impact, especially in the long term, and are delighted that Daniel and Fabian have agreed to the idea. With three managing directors, two must agree to a resolution before it is adopted. The punkt.de expects this to result in more thorough planning for the important steps ahead.

Workshop on the new management bodies

After a brief introduction, we moved on to the workshop, where we were able to address our concerns and wishes for the future of the company. The managing directors will tackle the insights gained here together and are confident of finding a solution to the points raised after the first meetings.

Fresh air and good conversation while "Boßeln" through Karlsruhe

Boßeln in Karlsruhe

In the afternoon, we were able to indulge in the North German sport of "Boßeln". The aim of the game is to get a rubber ball to the end of a set course in as few throws as possible. This sport is actually played on the wide open fields, in the dunes and on the dyke. In the absence of the scenic advantages of the North Sea, Karlsruhe city center and the "Klotze", as the Günther-Klotz facility is known here, were converted into the venue at short notice. The focus was on exercising together in the fresh air, but there was also a winning team among the four teams. At the end, all the teams celebrated the finale together with "Marianne's Flammkuchen".

With a mixture of "happy anticipation", "respect for the task" and full of zest for action, the new trio of managing directors thanked everyone for the trust placed in them in advance.
