Conclusion: TYPO3 Developer Days 2022 (T3DD)

After a long break, the T3DD took place in Karlsruhe this year and punkt.de was once again right in the middle of it instead of just being there. The conference was a complete success: around 250 participants enjoyed presentations, discussions and workshops. Here are a few impressions of T3DD 2022 in Karlsruhe...

The hottest conference of the year definitely took place in Karlsruhe this year. Around 250 TYPO3 enthusiasts took part in the TYPO3 Developer Days (T3DD) in temperatures of up to 40 degrees. But real "superheroes" are not deterred by 40 degrees, because that was the theme for the supporting program of T3DD 2022.

Over the course of four days, guests were able to exchange technical information in various formats. Of course, networking and personal contact were not neglected either: Enough time was planned for this to create a good balance between the presentations and workshops.

We at punkt.de helped with the organization of the conference in the run-up to the event and provided "helping hands" for the presentations and workshops at T3DD. We also gave two presentations of our own.

On Saturday, Patrick "Paddy" Hausen from our infrastructure team gave his presentation:

This was followed on Sunday by Ursula Klinger & Christian Keuerleber. The experience from one of our major projects, which we have been supporting for ten years, provided the basis here:

If you have any questions about our talks, please feel free to contact us!

In addition to our own presentations, there were of course many other exciting presentations and the audience was able to give feedback at the end of the presentations or workshops in order to present the "Best Paper" award at the end of the conference.

The "Best Paper" awards were presented to the following people at the end of the conference:

  1. Simon Praetorius
  2. Oliver Bartsch
  3. Benni Mack

Congratulations again to the winners!

We were of course delighted that after such a long break, the enthusiasm for the conference was not only unbroken, but that the TYPO3 project was also driven forward late into the night by a pleasing number of participants at the "Coding Night".

As "Superheroes" from the DC & Marvel universe were the motto of this conference, a pub quiz and the corresponding photo box were of course a must at the "Social Night".

There was plenty of partying to round off the event. So don't be surprised if a few superhero photos from T3DD make their way around the web soon.

Some of the presentations were also streamed, you can find out more here.

Well, what can we say in conclusion?

We're already looking forward to T3DD 2023!
