The hottest conference of the year definitely took place in Karlsruhe this year. With temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees, around 250 TYPO3 enthusiasts attended the TYPO3 Developer Days (T3DD). But real “superheroes” aren’t deterred by even 40 degrees—and that was the theme of the T3DD 2022 side program.
Over the course of four days, attendees were able to exchange technical insights in a variety of formats. Of course, networking and personal interaction were also a priority: enough time was set aside to strike a good balance between the presentations and workshops.
We at punkt.de helped organize the conference in the run-up to the event and served as "Helping Hands" during the presentations and workshops at T3DD. We also gave two presentations of our own.

In addition to our own presentations, there were, of course, many other exciting presentations, and the audience was able to provide feedback at the end of each presentation or workshop to help select the winner of the “Best Paper” Award at the end of the conference.

We were, of course, delighted that after such a long hiatus, enthusiasm remained undiminished—not only for the conference but also at the “Coding Night,” where a gratifyingly large number of participants worked on the TYPO3 project late into the night.
Since “superheroes” from the DC & Marvel universes were the theme of this conference, a pub quiz and the accompanying photo booth were, of course, a must at the “Social Night.”
We wrapped things up with a proper celebration. So don’t be surprised if a few superhero photos from T3DD start popping up online soon.
