TYPO3 Camp Central Germany 2024

Our first camp of 2024 took place in Dresden this year—it was a real pleasure!

The TYPO3 Camp Mitteldeutschland in Dresden was once again a real experience; it was my first time attending the event in Dresden, and I had two of my experienced TYPO3 developers by my side. My colleagues Ursula Klinger and Christane Helmchen are true camp veterans, but even they were surprised by how well-attended the camp was this year.

A Barcamp where you'll feel right at home!

Nearly 270 TYPO3 developers and enthusiasts exchanged ideas on current topics related to TYPO3 development in a Barcamp format. Of course, the topic of AI was once again a major focus, but other fundamental topics were also covered, such as forms, shop migration, content deployment, database migrations, regression testing, digital accessibility, bug reports, structured data, and much more!

The program also included overarching topics such as project management, nonviolent communication, a discussion of tools, the current state of TYPO3, and sales enablement!

punkt.de GmbH - Lounge Sponsor for the Camp

punkt.de, GmbH is committed to supporting the community, which is why we decided to provide financial support for the camp as a “Lounge Sponsor” and, at the same time, offer exhausted camp attendees a place to rest during breaks.

Our booth was well-attended, the seating area was well-received, and we had some nice conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.

Infrastructure on Tour—Coming to Dresden, Too!

We were once again represented at this TYPO3 event with our infrastructure booth. With our infrastructure mascot “Schorsch” and my colleague Patrick M. Hausen from our infrastructure team, we brought a wealth of expertise on infrastructure and our proServer solutions to the event.

We were able to answer several questions about our server concept for TYPO3 hosting (proServer) at our booth and appreciated all the feedback we received regarding our server concept.

Network and build relationships!

Of course, we also took the opportunity to rekindle old relationships and partnerships with other agencies after a long hiatus due to COVID. Thanks also to our agency partner at DFAU—the coffee was excellent!
