The " punkt.de " Neos Workshop

The following parts of the Neos workshop have been published so far. Various Neos features are explained using a simple page as an example. The individual parts build on one another, so it’s a good idea to start the workshop with the first part.

• Part 1 - Installing Neos CMS in a local development environment with VirtualBox and Vagrant.
  In this part of the workshop, we’ll lay the groundwork for our work with Neos by setting up a development environment using VirtualBox, Vagrant, and a Vagrant box preconfigured for Neos.
  
  
• Part 2 – Getting a Neos site package up and running for your own website project.
  In the second part of the workshop, we’ll start implementing your own project in Neos. We’ll use the website of a local wine shop as an example project.
  
  
• Part 3 – The basics of the Neos Content Repository and how to easily create your own content element types with it.
  Thanks to the powerful Content Repository and the tools Neos provides with Eel and FlowQuery, there are no limits to designing your own content elements. This part focuses on the structure and configuration of custom content types.
  
  
• Part 4 –Creating forms with the Neos Form Framework.
  Contact requests, comments, reservations, or orders—simple web forms are needed in many places on a website. In the third part of this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a simple email form using the Neos Form plugin.
  
  
• Part 5 –Multilingual Pages with Neos Content Dimensions and the Flow Localization Framework.
  If you want your website to appeal to an international audience, it should also be available in the languages of your target audience. This fifth part of the Neos CMS tutorial therefore focuses on multilingualism, an application of the powerful concept of Node Dimensions.
